Pulmonary oedema is characterized by an abnormal accumulation of water in the lungs. The horse presents serious difficulties in breathing, indeed oxygen can not pass between the air and the cells since it is liquid on a portion of the lung therefore oxygenation is very limited. There is also a foam flow through the nose. The diagnosis is clinical and fibreoptic.
Administered Or-Respi, Or-Draining and Or-Immune until symtoms disappear.
